Overview

RepTracker ("the App") is an exercise rep tracking application developed by Will Saults. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information RepTracker collects, how it's used, and how it's protected.

The short version: RepTracker stores your data locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't collect, access, or sell your personal information. We have no servers, no analytics, and no advertising.

Information You Provide

RepTracker stores the following data that you create through normal use of the App:

  • Exercise names and configurations (rep goals, progression settings)

  • Daily rep counts and completion status

  • Weight amounts per exercise (optional)

  • Daily goal snapshots and progression history

  • Streak data and rest day configuration

  • Archived exercise records

  • Notification preferences

  • Subscription status (active or inactive)

How Your Data Is Stored

On-Device Storage

All of your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is protected by your device's built-in encryption and is only accessible when your device is unlocked.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed into iCloud, your data is automatically synced across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is:

  • Stored in your personal iCloud account

  • Encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple

  • Not accessible to us or any third party

  • Subject to Apple's own [Privacy Policy](https://www.apple.com/privacy/)

You can disable iCloud sync for RepTracker in your device's Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud.

Subscription

RepTracker offers an optional subscription ($1/month) to unlock additional features. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework and the App Store. We do not process any payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple. We only receive a simple active/inactive status to determine which features to unlock. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • No personal information: We don't ask for your name, email, age, or any identifying information.

  • No analytics or tracking: We don't use any analytics frameworks or tracking tools.

  • No advertising: There are no ads in RepTracker and no ad-related tracking.

  • No account creation: There is no sign-up, login, or account system.

  • No external servers: Your data never touches any server we operate. We have no servers.

  • No third-party data sharing: Your data is never shared with, sold to, or accessed by any third party.

  • No data access by us: We have no ability to see, access, or retrieve any of your data.

Data Security

Your data is protected by multiple layers of security:

  • Device Encryption: Your data is encrypted on your device using Apple's data protection.

  • iCloud Encryption: Data synced to iCloud is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Children's Privacy

RepTracker is rated 4+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal information from any user, it is safe for use by all ages.

Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data:

  • Delete individual exercises: Remove any exercise and its associated tracking history from within the App.

  • Archive exercises: Archive exercises you're no longer actively tracking without deleting their history.

  • Disable iCloud sync: Turn off iCloud sync in your device settings to keep data on a single device only.

  • Cancel subscription: Manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

  • Delete the App: Removing RepTracker from your device deletes all locally stored data. To also remove iCloud data, disable iCloud sync before deleting the App, or manage your iCloud storage through your device settings.

Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
