Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change between pounds and kilograms?
Go to Settings and tap Weight Unit to switch between lbs and kg. All your existing entries will automatically convert to display in your chosen unit.
How do I edit or delete an entry?
In the Logbook tab, tap any entry to edit it. To delete, swipe left on the entry or use the delete option in the edit screen.
Is my data backed up?
If you have iCloud enabled, your data automatically syncs across all your Apple devices and is backed up to your iCloud account. You can manage this in Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud.
Can I sync with Apple Health?
Yes! Go to Settings and enable Apple Health Sync. W8Trackr can both save your entries to Apple Health and import weight data from other apps and devices.
How do I set up daily reminders?
Go to Settings and enable Daily Reminder. Choose your preferred time, and you’ll receive a notification to log your weight.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled). We don’t have servers and cannot access your data. See our privacy policy for details.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings and scroll to Delete All Weight Entries. This will permanently remove all entries from this device and iCloud.
Troubleshooting
My data isn’t syncing between devices
Ensure iCloud is enabled on all devices (Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud)
Check that W8Trackr has iCloud access enabled
Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID on all devices
Try closing and reopening the app
Apple Health sync isn’t working
Go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices
Find W8Trackr and ensure it has permission to read and write weight data
Toggle the permissions off and on again if needed
The app is using too much storage
Weight data is very small (a few KB). If storage seems high, it may be cached data. Try deleting and reinstalling the app—your data will restore from iCloud.
